The producers of Roofing systems in Ghana are calling on government to review the country’s import duty.
According to them, the woes of local businesses has increased due to the high cost of import duty.
The producers warns that cost of goods on the market will increase further if nothing is done about the situation.
The concern follows the three new taxes include Income Tax (Amendment) Bill, Excise Duty and Excise Tax Stamp (Amendment) Bills and the Growth and Sustainability Levy Bill.
The chief Executive officer for Rosa roofing systems, Prince Hope speaking in a press conference today called for reduction to boost local businesses.
