As the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Effah Osei Bonsu David, on 2nd April 2026, undertook a comprehensive tour across the municipality to assess the readiness for the festive season.
The tour covered key locations including the Kwahu Business Forum premises, where arrangements are underway to host entrepreneurs and investors; the scenic Kwahu mountains, where students are leading a beautification exercise through the painting of roadside barricades; and the Obomeng Library, which is set to be renamed in honour of the late Edward Kofi Omane Boamah.
At the Obomeng Astro Turf, the MCE inspected the construction of a washroom facility and car park to enhance user experience during the festivities. He also visited dump sites in Mpraeso and Obomeng to ensure proper waste management systems are in place for a clean environment.
In Bepong, efforts are underway to revitalise Easter celebrations with strong community involvement, while the Odweanoma site is ready for this year’s paragliding event.
The MCE expressed satisfaction with the progress made and urged all stakeholders to maintain momentum to ensure a safe, vibrant, and memorable Easter for all.
Kwahu is ready.
